The new FISTF BoD

Post  Thossa on Fri Mar 04, 2011 1:26 am

To all who think the last election in Madrid was worst case.

At least we have a new BoD who shows right now to make things better than the crew who was elected last year (what was nearly the same = giving a 2nd chance).

They are under pressure now. No question. No mistakes are from now on allowed anymore. I think they know it and I hope they understand this fact. If not, there will be another chances to call out a new election at the end of this season, if the majority of nations are not satisfied with the work of the current BoD and than there will still be a lot of alternatives to replace them.

When will there be new elections if it's not at the end of season?

@Kaitsu: we are free to ask six nations to demand a new EGM...

@Thossa: Everything makes me feel Capponi's "coup d'├ętat" was prepared a long time in advance. In september in Rain, he asked me if I would be interested to contribute to Subbuteonews because he wante to make "something independant" to inform people about the actuality of table football. As a coincidence, it never worked since september to reactivate the website. But as a coincidence it's working 3 days after the Madrid meeting. And when you see the website, you realize the guy is putting more a "Capponi show" rather than something "independant". In terms of ethics (as described in schools of journalism, this way to communicate is extremely poor. But as said Heinz, it's maybe just a coincidence...

So what are you wanting to do? Just call an EGM everytime the guy you want to be President doesnt get into power?

Time to grow up!

This whole thing is a complete bore!!! Just let the people who are in charge now get on with it instead of the constant whining and crying, its a goddamn joke!!!

Every morning I log on and there's at least 4 threads in the "new posts" section and they are ALL moaning about the board, elections etc etc! Its ridiculous, you might say "well dont log on to the forum then" but its like seeing a car crash on the road, you know you shouldnt look but you cant help watch.

Its all pathetic! What are you going to do? just on this forum for the next 5, 10, 15 years and just moan about every little thing that someone says??? Get a grip!

No, it's not about who is the president from my pow as i know very little about FISTF stuff anyways. That's partly the reason why i was asking this thing as i didn't know when the next election are etc. The way the current board toke power didn't fit in to my image of fair, so i was speaking againts it, the act it self.

I'm not trying to raise nations to vote this BoD, because that would just raise the option to everyone to do that and we'd never get long period BoD. That doesn't help anyone and personally i'm about to give these guys a change to actually make things better. I'm just dissapointed the way they behave on the "official FISTF" forum which i thought that would had been the place for open conversation and questions. Maybe they change the way of communication at some point, sooner the better.

The statutes of FISTF are wrong and ancient.
The BoD will not change them because they don't want to loose elections,
So you can ask one hundred EGM but without result.
If i was elected and the first day after, ALL table soccer community doing bad comments for me i would retire immediately.
Many persons prefer the chair. For them is more important to decide for other people that to enjoy with other people.

Mike and Alex,

Let him who is without moan cast the first stone.

Besides, it's a way to get to grips with something that defies your sense of justice.

Expect a few more moans following the minutes from Madrid.

It will no doubt be catmint for all the crash site voyers...
