Unofficial information about the situation of the Council. So that people know what's going on.

The FISTF Council has had some technical problems (with browsers not supporting the forum or something) getting started.

There are also basic things about the rules and structures of work to decide. It's a new thing, so everything has to be created from nothing.

But hopefully starting from next week we get to real work. At the start there will probably be more decisions in a shorter time, but after the start things will slow down a bit.

The Council members for the moment are:

Belgium COUCKE Laurent
Italy DEFRANCESCO Stefano
Germany GERSIE Janus
Spain GUERRERO Jose C.
Portugal HORTA Luis
Finland KOUVONKORPI Vesa
Wales LAUDER John
Argentina MURCILLI Claudio
Greece PAPAKOSTANTINOU Lazaros
England PARNABY Michael
Malta SAPIANO Anthony
Gibraltar TELLEZ Eddie
France TERRAIS Norbert
Netherlands VERHAGEN Eric
Monaco POPOFF Alexander

Finland changes its representative in the Council. Teemu Sihvola (Zinga) will replace me. The subjects on the Finnish agenda won't change. We will continue our work for the good of the whole game.

I will continue to put my time and energy into the issues concerning FISTF and players, in short: for the game. From now on this will happen in the Sports Commission.

The updated list of the Council members:

Belgium COUCKE Laurent
Italy DEFRANCESCO Stefano
Germany GERSIE Janus
Spain GUERRERO Jose C.
Portugal HORTA Luis
Finland SIHVOLA Teemu
Wales LAUDER John
Argentina MURCILLI Claudio
Greece PAPAKOSTANTINOU Lazaros
England PARNABY Michael
Malta SAPIANO Anthony
Gibraltar TELLEZ Eddie
France TERRAIS Norbert
Netherlands VERHAGEN Eric
Monaco POPOFF Alexander

Is there an Austrian representative in the Council already?

Could someone from the Council tell something about what is happening with the Council? Nothing specific about subjects, but maybe if you have a Chairman, if you have started work or something.

Communication of the Council is needed for the TF community. There are many people who can't ask their own countries representative about these things.

I don´t think the Council of Nations will ask for new elections of FISTF BoD soon and I fear they are still satisfied with the current situation...

There are no new candidates of a new FISTF BoD on the horizon anyway.

So far, nothing will chance within the next years. Good news for the amateurs Very Happy

I think something different will happen.

When the decision of the second degree court is published and if (as I hope) it is again not in favour of Koutroumanos, then FISTF will be obliged to change opinion about the Greek matter. Some people will lose their places in FISTF BoD and in FISTF CoN, and they will be replaced by people with different views at least in the CoN. Then, the road will be open for changes.

Although we had nobody 's real help for the last three years, we Greek players will save FISTF, be certain about it!!
